Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Every AFCultures sign is custom-made for a specific project. This policy explains how production, final review, shipment, tracking, delivery, and transit issues are handled by AFCultures USA Inc.
How shipping works
Your order moves through design approval, fabrication, quality control, finished-product review, packing, and shipment. Production time and shipping time are separate, and both are shown clearly below.
Before shipment, we send a video of the completed sign so you can review the actual product, confirm the delivery address, and ask for additional photographs or video if needed.
If a shipment is damaged or lost in transit, AFCultures works with the carrier and with you to reach the fastest practical solution.

When Production Begins
Production is scheduled after both of the following are complete:
- Payment has been received in full, or the required deposit has been paid
- Your design proof has been approved in writing
Production time starts only after both conditions have been met. Delays in payment, proof approval, or required project information will move the production schedule by the length of the delay.
For complete order-formation terms, see the Terms of Sale.
Production Time
Every sign is fabricated to an approved specification. Typical production times are:
| Product type | Typical production time |
|---|---|
| Backlit metal signs, PVC signs, and flat cut metal signs | Up to 2 weeks |
| Channel letters, illuminated signs, and fabricated dimensional signs | 3–4 weeks |
| Large-format, engineered, or complex projects | Quoted individually |
These timeframes cover fabrication and normal quality control. Shipping time is separate.
Priority Orders
A paid priority fee may shorten production where capacity allows. The priority production time and target ship-out date will be confirmed in writing before the fee is accepted.
A priority fee shortens production only. It does not guarantee the carrier’s delivery date.
Shipping Time
After production and final review are complete, most orders are delivered within 5–7 business days, depending on destination, carrier, customs processing, and local delivery conditions.
Shipping time is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery commitment. Carrier performance, weather, customs, government restrictions, and transportation disruption may affect delivery.
Overall planning guide: Most standard orders arrive approximately 4–5 weeks after payment and design approval.
This is a planning estimate only. The committed portion of the schedule is the production time confirmed for your order.
Finished Product Review Before Shipment
Before shipping, AFCultures sends a video of the completed sign for your review. This allows you to see the actual product rather than a rendering.
You have three (3) business days from the time the video is sent to:
- Review the completed sign
- Confirm the shipping address
- Raise any discrepancy against the approved proof
- Request additional photographs, video, illumination footage, or a live video call
Additional review material is provided at no charge. Where requested, the review period begins after that material has been provided.
If you need more time, request an extension before the review period ends. AFCultures will hold shipment for up to five (5) additional business days at no charge.
If we receive no response and no extension request within the review period, the sign will be packed and shipped to the address on file.
Tracking and Delivery
When your order ships, AFCultures provides the available tracking information, including:
- Carrier name
- Tracking number
- Available estimated delivery information
Please monitor the shipment and make suitable arrangements to receive it, especially for large, heavy, or commercial deliveries.
Carrier tracking is the most current source for delivery status. If a tracking record appears delayed or unclear, contact us and we will assist with the carrier.
Inspection on Arrival
Please inspect the package when it arrives and record the unboxing where possible. Clear photographs or video help us resolve freight claims quickly and accurately.
Report visible damage, concealed damage, or missing items within seven (7) days of delivery by emailing [email protected] with your order number.
Where available, please retain:
- The original packaging and cushioning
- A photograph of the shipping label and tracking number
- Photographs of the package before opening
- Photographs or video showing the affected product
If video is unavailable, AFCultures will still review the claim using photographs, delivery records, and carrier information.
Transit Damage
Your sign remains AFCultures’ responsibility until delivery. If a shipment arrives damaged in transit, contact us as soon as possible so we can begin the claim and resolution process.
Where transit damage is verified, AFCultures will arrange the most appropriate remedy, which may include:
- Replacement components
- Repair of the affected item
- Remake of the affected piece or complete sign
- Reshipment at no additional cost
We may ask you to retain the packaging while the carrier reviews the claim. If carrier documentation is required, our team will guide you through what is needed.
For the full transit-damage terms, see the Terms of Sale.
Lost Shipments
If tracking indicates that a shipment may be lost, AFCultures will open an investigation with the carrier and keep you informed.
If the carrier does not locate or resolve the shipment within fifteen (15) business days, AFCultures will remake and reship the order.
If the original shipment is later delivered after a replacement has been produced or sent, please contact us before using or disposing of either shipment so the matter can be resolved properly.
Delivery Delays
Delivery can occasionally be delayed by events outside AFCultures’ reasonable control, including:
- Carrier disruption or capacity limits
- Severe weather or natural events
- Customs inspection or clearance delays
- Labor action, transportation interruption, or port congestion
- Government, import, export, or trade restrictions
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
Where we become aware of a meaningful delay, we will communicate the available information and assist with carrier follow-up.
Shipping delays caused by the carrier or other external events do not generally qualify for an order refund. Where a delay is caused by AFCultures and a paid priority production fee applies, that fee will be handled according to the Terms of Sale.
Address Changes and Misdelivery
Please review the delivery address carefully during the finished-product review stage.
If you need to change the address, contact AFCultures before shipment. A change requested after dispatch may not be possible and may result in carrier rerouting, storage, redelivery, or additional freight charges.
If a shipment is delayed or misdelivered because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, related redelivery or recovery costs are the customer’s responsibility.
If AFCultures supplied the carrier with incorrect address information, AFCultures will arrange correction and bear the reasonable related costs.
Refused Delivery
Please contact us before refusing delivery. In many cases, a concern can be documented and resolved without sending the shipment back through the carrier network.
If delivery is refused for a sign that matches the approved proof and has no verified transit damage, the order remains payable in full. Return freight, storage, and reshipment may be charged to the customer.
If the package appears visibly damaged, note the condition with the driver where possible, photograph it, and contact AFCultures immediately for guidance.
Ownership, storage, disposal, and unpaid-balance terms for refused shipments are set out in the Terms of Sale.
International Shipping
AFCultures ships to the United States and selected international destinations.
Unless your quotation states otherwise, the customer is responsible for destination-country charges that are not included in the quoted freight, including:
- Import duties
- Local taxes
- Customs fees
- Brokerage or clearance charges
- Destination storage caused by delayed customs response
Where AFCultures agrees in writing that duties or other destination charges are included, the quotation controls.
International shipping estimates may be affected by customs inspection, local holidays, documentation requirements, or import restrictions.
